GREAT new role at global Harrogate company. Working as Team Manager, our client is seeking a strong and inspirational person to manage and develop at team of 20.
Main duties include:
Being a strong and inspirational leader within the Technical Team, improving efficiency and maximising the team’s potential.
Playing a key role in the continuing growth of the Technical Team.
Assessing areas for improvement and actioning change.
On-going performance management and monthly 121s
Responsible for ensuring each individual has a monthly 121 and assist in providing scores for the more senior members of the team.
Ensuring probation meetings take place and feeding back to Management/HR.
Ensuring each individual has a progression development plan in place and we are setting relevant objectives to help people achieve goals and objectives.
Performance assessment in relation to clients, teams and processes.
Improving team processes and ensuring the team are adhering to these.
Ensuring regular team meetings are organised, attended and have a clear agenda.
Maintaining correct staffing levels and assisting with recruitment across the Technical Team – screening CVs, interviewing candidates and providing internal feedback.
Training: on-going monitoring and assessment of the training needs within the team and help develop and deliver appropriate training programmes for teams and individuals.
Assist with the onboarding process for all new starters.
Also assisting in other departments, supplying monthly KPI data and summaries
Supplying Finance Department with a breakdown of monthly costs.
Supporting the Team Leads in their development – conducting 121s and being available to discuss challenges or additional support needed within the team.
Dealing with ad hoc requests that come in from across the business.
