EXCELLENT NEW opportunity at premium brand national company as Commercial Manager. The remit is to deliver strong, analytical and robust commercial performance to maximise the profitability of the portfolio. Managing the Commercial team who are responsible for maximising revenue both for clients and for portfolio, working closely with Marketing, Product and Owner teams to collaboratively optimise owner engagement and customer bookings and revenue. To help identify commercial initiatives and opportunities that drive increased revenue.  To stay aware of market trends that can influencing trading performance.

To manage, develop and mentor the Commercial Team to drive results across the business ensuring they are commercially focused. To lead by example, supporting Revenue Analysts to become best in class.


• To ensure that all reporting is produced on time and accurately and to troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• To assist financial and budget tracking against targets
• Attend weekly trading meetings and provide insight into risk and opportunities to forecast
• Convert insight into compelling selling stories and commercial strategies
• To help the Teams in making commercial decisions relating to pricing and performance
• To maintain and keep up to date all tools that relate to yield and pricing and ensure that the clients are receiving best in class data

*Develop excellent relationships with key accounts discussing key trends in market
• Driving performance directly via liaising with Marketing on opportunities to promote them
• Occasional travel to meet key accounts face to face

• To manage and develop the Commercial Team to drive results across the business ensuring they are commercially focused
• Encourage collaboration and sharing of best practice within the team
• Support Head of Commercial to drive consistency within the team
• Lead by example by being proactive, agile and results orientated
• A solid understanding of departmental, company and wider business strategy
• Leader of change: Proactive and results driven continually identifying solutions for improvements with processes within the team
• Strong communicator and relationship building skills, confident and comfortable in communicating/presenting to all levels
• Accountable for supporting the changes in pricing and revenue management strategies and improving revenue by applying the most up-to-date Pricing and Revenue Management techniques to

• To work collaboratively with the Head of Commercial to engage and influence other areas of the business to drive revenue
• To help identify other commercial initiatives and opportunities that drive increased revenue

Education, training, skills and experience required
• Ideally educated to degree level
• Commercially astute with proven analytical skills and experience of working in a fast paced environment
• Experience in developing and managing people
• Results orientated and proven experience of delivering against targets
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
• The ability to interrogate large amounts of data to draw meaningful conclusions to assist wider business in decision making
• An ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Experience of working within Travel and Tourism industry
• Forecast sales and revenue targets experience
• Consistently seeking to improve financial and business performance
• Able to construct compelling business cases
