Impression Recruitment are delighted to be searching for a personable and self-motivated Account Handler in a customer-facing role on behalf of our client. You will be joining a close-knit team who are looking to build on recent years of success which has been achieved by providing outstanding levels of customer service to their nationwide client base. Previous experience in an account handling role would be advantageous, however if you have a keen eye for attention to detail and a passion for consistently exceeding customer expectations you’d be strongly considered.

As a successful Account Handler your duties will include:

  • Providing prompt advice to new and existing customers regarding their insurance needs and risk management issues.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for client servicing issues from clients, insurers and third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Providing technical, administrative and customer service support to the insurance sales executives.
  • Achieving agreed individual forecasts, plans and targets for the development of existing and new customers.
  • Administration of clients’ insurance requirements daily including general enquiries at renewal, mid-term adjustments and accounting procedures.
  • Liaising as appropriate with insurers in relation to customers.
  • Adhering to FSA regulations and requirements, promoting a compliant working style.
  • Accompany insurance sales executive on client visits.
  • Administration of financial accounts to assist with credit control.

  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude and plenty of initiative.

 

In return the successful Account Handler can expect to receive a salary of between £24,000 – £30,000 depending on experience, working on a permanent basis during the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
