EXCLUSIVE and exciting new role at expanding market leader based on outskirts of Harrogate.  Working within the busy accounts team as Accounts Assistant.

Duties & roles responsibilities include:

Exciting new role supporting the project managers and finance department to provide the successful delivery of their projects.

  • Raising purchase orders, tracking and managing the inventory of the projects
  • Allocating all project costs, matching purchase orders, posting purchase invoices and reconciling purchase statements on sage
  • Production of sales invoices and project reports
  • Compiling and processing month end and mid-month payment run
  • Inter-company account invoicing and reconciliations
  • Answering the phone, dealing with customer and supplier queries
  • Other general finance admin and operations support

Key personal attributes and behaviours –


The person we are looking for will have the ability to build strong relationships and be a great communicator

  • Proven work experience, minimum 3-year experience in accounts role and a strong understanding of accounts procedures and best practice
  • Experience and good attention to detail
  • Excellent numeracy and interpersonal skills
  • Good level of Excel skills and overall IT literacy, advanced knowledge of sage 50 essential
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise their workload


  • Experience of project accounting
  • Previous experience working within energy or engineering sector
  • Use of Clik software
