As Tax Advisor your duties will include:
- Focus on either Personal Tax or Corporate Tax
- Responsible for overseeing tax compliance on behalf of clients within the portfolio; tax return preparation, submissions to HMRC and payment advise
- Work closely with colleagues in the department and firm
- Assist with ad hoc tasks in addition to compliance work
- Liaise with HMRC re clients and third parties
- Communication with clients
- Report directly within the tax Team to the Associate Partner/Senior Manager
Skills required:
- Previous experience of working within a tax role would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload efficiently
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Technically proficient
- Quality organisational skills
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- ATT/CTA qualifications beneficial but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
In return the Tax Advisor will receive a salary of £27,000 – £32,000 per annum and will be working for one of the top firms in Harrogate. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with one hour for lunch. You will be working in smart, modern and professional offices with onsite parking and close to Harrogate centre.
